OWLS - BAYKUŞLAR

OWLS

Owls are more often heard than see. In New York, there are eight species of these interesting raptors, with the majority most active at night. Some live here year-round, some are migratory. They range in size from the huge Great Horned Owl to tiny Northern Saw-whet Owl.

The following are brief descriptions of the state's owls and the unique sounds that they make. Büyük Büyük Boynuzlu Baykuş'tan küçük Kuzey Testeresi Baykuş'a kadar çeşitlilikleri vardır.

Aşağıda, eyaletin baykuşlarının kısa açıklamaları ve yaptıkları benzersiz sesler yer almaktadır. Cornell'in Kuşlar Hakkında Her Şey web sitesinden, Dışişleri Bakanlığı Envirolmental Conversation'dan, DEC'nin Conservationist dergisinden ve diğer web sitelerinden bilgi alındı.
